Susan Farr

Susan F. Farr, 77, Centermoreland, passed away, Thursday, March 9, 2023, at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late John and Medora Betterly Scheff and was a graduate of Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre.

Susan was a transportation coordinator with the Dallas School District before her retirement. She was a member of Centermoreland United Methodist Church. She was also a member of The Red Hats Society and United Methodist women’s group. She volunteered at The Kunkle/Alderson United Methodist Church. Some of her favorite activities included ceramics, bingo and going to lunches with her girlfriends.

Susan was preceded in death by her husband Richard K. Farr in 2001. Surviving are her sons Douglas Farr, Centermoreland, James Farr and his wife Michelle, Sellersville, PA, and her grandchildren Randall, Meghan, and Erin Farr.

Memorial service will be held, Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM from The Centermoreland United Methodist Church, 17 Creamery Road, Tunkhannock, Pa. 18657.
