Mary Neely

Mary Ellen Neely, 81, Dallas, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Dorothy Reese Lavin and was a graduate of Coughlin High School, Wilkes-Barre.

She was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. Mary Ellen was also an auxiliary member of Daddow Isaacs American Legion Post # 672, Dallas.  Mary Ellen was a clerk with J & J Deli, Dallas before her retirement. She very much enjoyed her BINGO games.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernard Neely and a sister, Eleanor Daugherty. Surviving are a daughter, Sharon Fisk and her husband Willie, Dallas. Son, Martin Neely and his wife Joyce, Lisbon, Maine. 3 grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
