Marie Bellas

Marie T. Bellas, 93, Dallas, passed away, Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Kadima at Lakeside Nursing Center. Born in Dallas, she was the daughter of the late John and Anne Cholish Polachek and was a graduate of Dallas High School.

Marie was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. With her talents with fabrics and sewing, she helped sew church vestments for Gate of Heaven as well as making crafts for the Sisters at College Misericordia. She was a laborer with Linear in Dallas.

Marie was preceded in death by her husband Albert J. Bellas in 2015. Sisters, Anna Polachek, Josephine Benit, and Theresa Polachek. Brothers, John, Jr., Michael, Bernard, Andrew, Joseph, and Francis Polachek. Surviving are her daughters, Mary Ann Williams, Dallas and Jo Ann Bellas, Georgetown. 4 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandson.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, February 11, 2021 at 10:00 Am at Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. Friends may call Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa. 18612. Those attending the Funeral Mass are to go directly to the church.
