Lisbeth Nilsson

Lisbeth Ursula Nilsson, 90, Dallas, passed away Sunday, May 29, 2022 at Green Briar. Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, she was the daughter of the late Christian Pedersen and Ellen Petersson and was a graduate of the Denmark Schools. Lisbeth was born, one of seven siblings.

After she married the love of her life the late Ebenhart Nilsson, with whom she celebrated 63 years of marriage. They sailed across the sea to begin their American dream. She devoted her life to raising her family. A homemade dinner was always on the table and dessert was always a delicious Danish treat. She loved sharing her heritage with her grand and great grandchildren by singing songs, telling stories and dancing. She was the epitome of tradition and always wearing a dress. In fact, she never owned a pair of pants in her life. But always wore a smile. The sweetest you would have ever seen.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a brother, several sisters and, a son-in-law, Dr. James Heintz. Surviving are her daughters, Maj-Britt Black and her husband Dr. James Black, Grosspoint City, MI, Linda Pilipshen and her husband Dr. Stephen Pilipshen, Mt. Laurel, NJ, Marian Heintz, Dallas, PA, and her son, Dr. Jack Nilsson, Strongsville, Ohio. 13 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas. Online condolences may be made at disquefuneralhome.com.
