Jean N. Harrison, 85, Dallas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the Gardens in Tunkhannock. Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Cesare and Giulia Luzioli Santarelli.
Jean was a loving, caring and giving wife and mother. She enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren. She worked in the housekeeping department of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital until her retirement and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. Jean was also a member of The Trucksville United Methodist Church.
Jean was preceded in death by her husband Wayne (Jake) in 2016, and sisters, Irma Niniotti, Norma Williamson, Lola Castrignano, Lillian Santarelli and a brother, Robert Santarelli. Surviving are her sons, Richard Harrison and his wife Jeannie, David Harrison and his wife Mellissa; daughter-in-law Patricia Harrison; grandchildren, Jacob Harrison, Marissa Siok, David R. Harrison, Angela O’Kane and 6 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.
