Carol Swire

Carol T. Swire, 69, Harveys Lake, passed away, Thursday, October 7, 2021 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital. Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Antonia (Terrone) Stredny and was a graduate of Dallas High School.

She was a housewife and mother staying home to raise her family. Besides raising her family, she very much loved taking care of her beloved cats.

Carol is survived by her son Christian Swire and his wife Jennifer, Thornhurst. Her Grandchildren, Alexander and Madison Swire. Her  Sister, Susan Stredny in Florida and brother, Joseph Stredny and his wife Francine of AK, and her Sister-in-Law, Jane Stredny of Harvey’s Lake. She is also survived by nieces, a nephew and great nieces.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Stredny.
