 William F. Griffiths, 98, West Bath, ME, formerly of Dallas, Pa, passed away, Tuesday, August 6, 2024, in West Bath ME. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Cedric and Elizabeth Grall Griffiths and was a graduate of Dallas High School and received his BA in Government from George Washington University. 

 William was a Sales Manager with XEROX Corporation for many years until his retirement. He was previously with Underwood Typewriters and later with Standard Register Business Forms. He was a member of Kenhorst Blvd SDA Church, Reading, PA. and Topsham Maine SDA Church. He was also a member of The Welsh Society of North America, Boy Scouts of America Troop 423 Wernersville, PA and was Scout Master from 1964- 1967. Member and Past Master of his Masonic Lodge in Vienna Virginia. Disabled Americans Commanders Club, Reading Pathfinders Club and Club Co-Director 1968-1977. Knights Templar, VA hospitals Operations Uplift, Pennsylvania Heritage Affairs Commission, and the City of Reading PA Literacy Council. William had served his country proudly as a Naval aviator during WW II as an Ensign, retiring from the Naval Reserve after 20 years of service as a Lt Commander.

 He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jacqueline Ann Kingsley in 1976 and his second wife, Mary Todd Williams in 2015. Surviving are his children, James Cedric Griffiths and his wife Jeannette, David Linden Griffiths and his wife Catherine, Gwendolyn Griffiths Arentz, and Alice Kingsley Houmann and her husband Per Carl Houmann. 8 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
