William L. (Billy) Frey

William L. (Billy) Frey, 68, Shickshinny, passed away, Friday, December 8, 2023 at his home. Born in Bloomsburg, he was the son of the late Claude E. Frey, Jr. and Martha Gearhart Frey. Billy was a tree trimmer all of his life working for Asplundh until he opened his own business, Billy Frey’s Tree Service. owning his own business, Billy’s Tree Trimming Service. Billy loved horses and he belonged to many barrell racing associations as well as an avid hunter.  

    He is survived by his with of 26 years the former Marie Stolarick, at home. Son, Ryan Frey, daughters, Amy Crawford and Tiffinie Kaye and granddaughter Jessica Evans. His sister Claudia Frey and 6 grandchildren. Billy also had 5 step children, 13 step grandchildren, and 9 step great grandchildren.
