William Baldwin
February 28, 1927 — June 12, 2016
William H. Baldwin, 89, of Harveys Lake, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016, at The Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas.
Born in Nanticoke, he was the son of the late Harold and Pearl Grant Baldwin and attended the Nanticoke schools.
William was employed in inventory control with the Lehman School District, retiring 10 years ago. He had also worked at Triangle Shoe for 30 years. Later, William had worked as a greeter for the Wilkes-Barre Wal-Mart for five years when it first opened. He was very proud of his home both inside and out taking meticulous care of both.
William was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores, who passed away this past April; a brother, Murray Baldwin; and a sister, June Dobbs.
He is survived by a son, Robert Baldwin, Harveys Lake.
The funeral will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas. William's family would like to personally thank the staff of both The Meadows Nursing Center and Meadows Manor for the care and compassion they gave to Bill.
