Virginia Spencer

Virginia “Ginger” Spencer, 82, Dallas, passed away, Monday, April 2, 2018 at her residence. Born in Newton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Lillie Ayers Specht and was a graduate of Branchville High School.

Ginger was a Housewife, raising her children. She was a member of The Huntsville United Methodist Church. Ladies Auxiliary of Daddow Isaacs post #672 American Legion, Associate member of Harveys Lake American Legion, and Harveys Lake Lions Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Arthur “Jim” Spencer in 2013, sisters, Naomi Specht, and Leona Pittenger, Brothers, Harry, Edward, and Harold Specht. Surviving are daughter, Dawn Swire and her husband Randy, Pheonixville, Pa., and a son Arthur Jim Spencer and his wife Pam, Dallas. 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Sister, Lola Lobb, Middletown, NY.

Funeral will be held Friday, April 6, 2018 at 2:00 PM at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with The Rev. Dick Williams, pastor Huntsville United Methodist Church , officiating. Friends may call from 12:00 Noon until time of service. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn memorial Park, Dallas.
