Timothy J. Martin, 60 of Harveys Lake, PA passed away on Friday, June 26, 2026, while at home in hospice, after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was the son of the late Rev. Eugene Martin and Jo Ann (Morris) Martin, the fourth of four children. He was born in Wilkes Barre and grew up attending schools there until 1980 when his family moved to Clifton Township, PA, and then graduated from North Pocono High School.
Tim served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1984 to 1986 as an avionics mechanic. Tim spent most of his adult life as a mechanic and truck driver. He worked for Time Enterprise for 24 years and Core Mark International for over 16 years. He received the Core Mark’s “Best of the Best” Truck Driver of the year for region, state and corporate wide in 2018. He was a master at his craft winning numerous safety awards throughout his driving career. He grew up attending the Parsons Primitive Methodist Church attending many other PM churches throughout his life.
In addition to his parents Tim was preceded in death by brothers-in-law, Kevin Bouk and Ed Zindle Sr. and sister-in-law, Alice Adams. Surviving is his wife Aubrey Ellisor Martin, they were married in September of 2020. Daughters, Jeannine Martin and her husband Chris Cestone, Moscow, Jessie Martin, Dallas, Amber Nuzzi and her husband Mike, Walden, NY, and Taylor Ellisor, Harveys Lake. Grandchildren: Mason, Eric, Artemus, Tavita, Peter and Oliver. Sisters Lauri Bouk, Boone, Iowa, Sheri Zindle. Clifton Twp. and brother Mark and his wife Kathy, Lehighton. He is Uncle and Great Uncle to dozens of awesome young people that love him very much and appreciate his positive influence on their lives. He will be greatly missed by his family.
Tim had many passions in his life, the Red Sox, the Giants, NASCAR, and motorcycles just to name a few, but his true passion was being the best friend a person could ever have and to love his family more than anything in the world. He was an expert at both those efforts. He was part of a huge family on his mother’s side, he was the 31st grandchild, one of 38 first cousins. His father’s family was smaller, but he was just as special to all of them as well. He would always find time to visit family as he traveled with his job to many states. If you knew Tim, and called him friend, you probably referred to him as your best, or one of your best friends. He was so very proud of this title, he never it took it lightly, and was always that one person you could count on if you needed anything. To say he will be missed is a huge understatement.
