Stella R. Falkowitz

Stella R. (McManus) Falkowitz, 84, Dallas, passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. Born in Swoyersville, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Ruth (Russell) McManus and was a graduate of Luzerne High School.

Mrs. Falkowitz worked for many different companies as a Secretary/Administrative Assistant until retiring in 2007. She was a resident of Dallas for many years and a member of the Bennett Presbyterian Church in Luzerne. She was an Elder in the church and Supervisor of the Sunday School for a number of years, in charge of many activities in the Sunday School.

Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Falkowitz, and brothers, Robert and Jack McManus. Surviving are her son, Scott Falkowitz and his fiancé, Jadi Willison, Harveys Lake, sister Candice McManus, Kingston, and brother Francis McManus, Edwardsville. Also several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held Monday, April 28, 2025 at 10:00 AM from Bennett Presbyterian Church, 501 Bennett Street, Luzerne, PA with The Rev. James C Quinn officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park in Dallas.
