Shirley Mayer

Shirley Mayer, 92, Dallas, passed away, Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Keystone Garden Estates, Larksville. Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late George and Jennie Lever Ellis and was a graduate of Kingston High School.

Shirley had worked for RCA Mountain Top for some years. Later with Marywood University as well as EastWind Inns, Tenants Harbor Maine, as a waitress/Housekeeper. She was an avid Racewalker, loved cooking and canning.

She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Graydon Mayer in 2004. Surviving are her sons, Eric Mayer and his wife Mary Long, and Todd Mayer and his wife Margaret, Grandchildren, Warren, Fleur, Tristin.

The family would like to thank everyone at Keystone Gardens Estates, as well as Dr. John Carey, Fran McGlynn and Hospice of the Sacred Heart for their compassionate care.

Funeral will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.
