Sharen L. Holdredge

Sharen L. Holdredge, 78, Dallas, passed away, Sunday, June 21, 2026 at her residence after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Born in Larksville, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mildred Garney Smith and was a graduate of Larksville High School class of “65” and Wilkes-Barre business college.

Sharen was a member of The Trucksville United Methodist Church. She was with the Dallas School District in the food service department for many years before her retirement. She had been affiliated with PG&E for some years previously. Sharen very much enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren with their sports and other activities. Some of her past times were spent at garage sales and flea markets.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, David Holdredge. Surviving is her husband of 59 years, Donald Holdredge, at home. Sons, Daniel Holdredge and his wife Cheri, Purcellville, VA, Donald Holdredge Jr. and his wife Lori, Shavertown. Daughter-in-law Heather Holdredge, Clark summit. Grandchildren, T.J., Joshua, Emma, and Madison Holdredge, and Lauren Stanfield. Great Grandchildren, Asher Holdredge and Lena Stanfield. Sisters, Diane, Beverly, Lydia, and Pearl. Brothers, Pat and Robert. Numerous nieces and nephews.
