Sally A. Walter of Dallas, Pennsylvania joined our Heavenly Father on March 7, 2026 at the age of 77. She was the beloved wife of Thomas Walter.
Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Shirley E Brew (Merry) and John V. Brew. Shortly after she was born, they relocated to Northeastern Pennsylvania. Sally graduated from Meyers High School, later earning her CNA while working at General Hospital, and also met her best friend, Carol Nichols (Walter).
Sally met her husband, Tom through his sister, Carol. They married in 1981 and welcomed 2 sons together. Sally has 2 daughters from a previous marriage. Sally worked as an office administrator for 40 years for Carbon Sales Inc.
She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She would do anything for them. None of them ever wanted for anything.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her brother, Wayne Brew (Lorie) of Philadelphia, children, Samantha Spencer (Edward Raver), Shavertown, Shelby Landucci, Dallas, T. Jacob Walter (Tiffany), Clarks Summit, and P. John Walter (Nikki Davis), Dallas. Also, her niece, Catherine Brew and nephew, J. Logan Brew.
Sally had 12 Great Grandchildren, Colton (Antonia), Brittany, and Kassidy Spencer, Savannah Lockwood, Ember and Zoe Landucci, Pierce and Rosalina Walter, Liam, Jaxon, and Dustin Walter and Connor Search. Her 8 Great Grandchildren are Nathaniel, Abel, and Gabriella Spencer, Juan Barbosa, Sharlotte and Julian Spencer, and Isabella and Angelo Cordaro, with a new baby Cordaro on the way. Sally has many cousins and extended family.
The family would like to express a special and heartfelt thank you to the staff at Hospice of the Sacred Heart.
