Rosemarie Ciccarelli

         Rosemarie Ciccarelli, 89, Dallas, passed away, Friday, August 25, 2023 at Allied Hospice, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Plains, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Helen Matinas Katulka and was a graduate of Plains Memorial High School class of 1951.

         Marie was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake. She was a bookkeeper with Encon for many years before her retirement. She was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Daddow Isaacs American Legion, Dallas. Marie had a passion for cooking and loved making holiday meals for her family. She also loved going out to eat on Wednesdays and Saturdays. She enjoyed watching football, especially Penn State and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Rose was the heart and soul of her family.

       She was preceded in death by her husband Albert in 2020. Surviving are her daughters, Lisa Wincek and her husband Ronald, Plains, Sheri Metz and her partner Janene Kasarda, Harveys Lake. Grandchildren, Alyssa and Ronald Wincek, Jr. and Ashley Metz.

    Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 10:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas with Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. Friends may call Monday from 5 to 7 PM at the Funeral Home.
