Robin A. McIntyre

     Robin A. McIntyre, 63, of Tunkhannock, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at her home. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late David and Margaret Bevan Jones. Throughout her life, she was a dedicated learner, exploring education through various avenues.

     Robin was a skilled nurse aide who worked in many settings, ensuring comfort for all whom she cared for. Earlier in life, she was in the insurance industry, having owned her own agency, Manhattan Insurance. She was a Thrift Store Fanatic and Antique collector. She LOVED her hats and purses. She very much loved her many grandchildren and showered them with books and gifts.

     She is survived by her daughters, Melanie Mitchell of Berwick and Torrha McIntyre of Plymouth. Sons, James Mitchell of Fort Myers, Fla, Daniel Mitchell of Jacksonville, Fla, and Ian McIntyre of Harveys Lake. Also survived by fiancé’ Joseph Polkowski. She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. Sisters, Candace Parry and Margaret Sides and Brother, David Jones.

      Memorial Service will be held, Friday, April 19, 2024 at 11:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa. Friends may visit Friday from 10:00 AM until time of service. On line condolences may be made at Disquefuneralhome.com
