Richard Chester

Richard N. Chester, 59, Harveys Lake, passed away, Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Geneva, Ohio, he was the son of the late Edward A. and Sylvia E. Sterrett Shimandle and was a graduate of Geneva High School, Geneva, Ohio and received an Associate's Degree from Ohio Diesel Technical College. Richard was a Lineman with Comcast. He was an Associate member of the Harveys Lake American Legion and The NRA. Richard is survived by a daughter, Jamie Chester, Boardman, Ohio, Son, Gregory Chester and his wife Gina, Saybrook, Ohio, 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Sister, Shellie Jackett and her husband Eric and their 3 daughters. Memorial service will be held, Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 1:00 PM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with The Rev. Ben Hubble, pastor, Noxen Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Friends may call Tuesday from 12:00 PM until time of service.
