Paul J. Klug Jr. went home to Jesus on March 14th at age 74. He was born to Paul and Christine Klug on May 1st 1946 in Kingston. He went on to serve our country as a Corporal in the US Army during the Vietnam War, receiving a National Defense Service medal.
Paul met his wife and best friend, Diane, in 1980 and have been married for nearly 38 years. They had one daughter, Sarah. He was also a proud PopPop to his granddaughter, Cassandra.
Paul held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him. He was active in his church, Cross Creek Community, and will be remembered fondly.
Paul joins his father, Paul Klug Sr. and Mother, Christine Klug in Heaven. He is survived by his wife Diane Klug, of Dallas; his daughter Sarah Schaidt, her husband Josh, and his granddaughter, Cassandra, all of Virginia; his brothers Frank Klug and Michael Klug, and sisters Christine Chmarney, Patricia Thomas, and Mary Busch, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Hospice of the Sacred Heart in Dunmore for their wonderful care in his final weeks.
A private service will be held for his family at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.
