Muiel Sutton

(Muriel) Grace Worthington Sutton died on Sunday, March 27, 2016 in General Hospital, Wilkes-Barre at 98 1/2 years old. She was born on September 25, 1917 in Philadelphia, PA to the former Carl and Lois (Miners) Worthington. Grace attended Wilkes-Barre schools and graduated from the former Huntington Mills High School. She was a member of the Lehman-Idetown United Methodist Church, GFWC Harveys Lake, Irem Auxilary and the Young at Heart Club at the Hi-Meadows. Grace was preceded in death by husband Willard F Sutton, her son Willard (Bill) Sutton, Jr., sisters Norma Blackburn, Alice Jerome, Ruth Viti and brother Arthur Worthington. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law David and Christine Sutton of Lehman, brother Carl Worthington of West Wyoming, granddaughters Jennifer Martin and husband Terry, Nicole Sutton, Rebecca Sutton and great-grandchildren Jessica and Andrew Martin and Nathan Johnston. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Lehman-Idetown United Methodist Church on Saturday, April 2 at 11:00 AM with a calling hour from 10:00 to 11:00, prior to the service.
