Miriam Ruth Bosley Jennings

Miriam Ruth Bosley Jennings, 88, Wilkes-Barre, passed away, Wednesday, April 1, 2026 surrounded by her loving family at Allied Hospice, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Archie and Elizabeth Brain Bosley and was a graduate of Coughlin High School.

Miriam was a member of The Parsons Primitive Methodist Church as well as the church choir and a Sunday School Teacher, The Parsons Community Choir, Past President of The Ladies Aid Society. She was a past president of the women’s auxiliary of Irem Temple. She was also a member of Chapter #396, Order of The Eastern Star, Dallas, PA.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert and a sister Lois Bittinger. Surviving are her children, Daughters, Karen Kluk and her husband, Lawrence, Perkiomenville, PA., Beth Pierontoni and her husband Michael, Shickshinny, PA. Sons, Mark Jennings and his wife, Arlene, Nanticoke, Todd Jennings and his wife, Patricia, Forest,VA, Jason Jennings and his wife Meghan Thorpe-Kavanaugh , Landenberg, PA. 15 Grandchildren and 12 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 11:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, PA with The Rev. Andrew Jerome, pastor Parsons Primitive Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call Monday from 6 to 8 PM.
