Mary Shively

Mary L. Shively, 86, Trucksville, passed away, Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Evangeline Beaureguard Rutkowski. She attended the Plymouth schools.

Mary was a member of St. Francis Cabrini Church and formerly a member of St, Mary’s Church, Plymouth. She was very much involved in the church activities including rummage sales and church picnics. Some of her favorite hobbies were farming and fishing with her brother.

She was preceded in death by her husband Maurice in 1994, sister, Victoria Janusziewicz and brother, Peter Rutkowski. Surviving are her sons, Maurice Shively and his wife Mary Christine, William Shively and his wife Lisa, and Anthony Shively and his wife Lori. 3 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Monday, August 30, 2021 at 9:30 Am from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc. 28940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, PA 18612 with Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Francis Cabrini Church Wyoming with The Rev. James Paisley, pastor St. Francis Cabrini Church, officiating. Friends may call Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Funeral Home.
