Mary Rita Cutter, 93, of Dallas, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 at Wesley Village Nursing Center. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late John and Maude Monahan McCue and was a graduate of Coughlin High School.
Rita was employed as a customer service supervisor with Commonwealth Telephone before her retirement. She was a member of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas and a member of the Altar and Rosary Society. She was also a member of Dallas Federated Women’s Club. Some of her favorite activities were traveling the U.S. and abroad and spending winters in Florida.
Rita was preceded in death by her husband, William Cutter in 2018, brothers Jack, Donald and Paul McCue and in-laws Kay McCue, Harry Dombroski, Mike Dunleavy, Don Gavigan, Paul Kane and Grace McCue. Surviving are her daughters, Lynn Wilson and husband Chuck, Harveys Lake, Amy Borton and husband Mike, Dallas. Sons, Bill Cutter, Boston, MA, Gary Cutter and wife Alice, Dallas, Brian Cutter and wife April, Harveys Lake. 11 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren. Sisters, Dolores Dunleavy, Connie Dombroski, Sally Kane, and Ann Marie Gavigan. Brother, Dewey McCue and wife Patty, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 9:30 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc, 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas with Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Gate of Heaven Church. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 PM at the Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to Disquefuneralhome.com
