Karen P. Justus

Karen P. Justus, 78, Dallas, passed away, Wednesday, September 17, 2025 in Maryland. Born in Nanticoke, she was the daughter of the late Sheldon and Margaret Masters Lawrence and was a graduate of Newport Township High School, class of 1964. Karen lived in Aberdeen, MD for the last 2 years near her daughter and grandchildren.

Karen was a member of The Dallas United Methodist Church and was a Sunday School teacher, participated in the Tuesday Quilting group, and the Sister’s Circle of the church. She was also a member of the class reunion group for the class of “64”. She was a cashier for Weis Markets, she had been employed at Stopay Candies, the VA Credit Union, and other banking institutions.

Karen was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Justus in 1999 and her brother, Sheldon Lawrence. Surviving is her daughter, Kimberly Justus and her husband Dan Rusin, Aberdeen, MD. Son, Kristopher Justus and his wife Kelly, Lovettsville, VA. Sister, Pamela Paprota and husband John, Hanover Twp. Sister-in-Law Debbie Lawrence, Hartford, CT. Brother-in-Law Leonard Justus and wife Karen, and Brother-in-law Doug Justus. 4 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

Funeral will be held, Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 12:00 PM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa 18612 Friends may call Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of service.
