John Q. Yaple, II, 88, Kingston, passed away, Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Third Avenue Health and Rehabilitation Center, Kingston. Born in Kingston, he was the son of the late John Q. and Alice Morgan Yaple and was a graduate of Dallas High School, class of 1955 and attended Penn State University from 1955 to 1958.
He was in Management in the wholesale division of plumbing and heating industry for many years. He later was vice president and director of marketing at The Peerless Heating Company retiring in 2001.
John was a member of Tunkhannock Masonic Lodge #248 F & AM. Irem Shrine and Irem Golf Association and The Irem “Rough Riders”. Many of his favorite hobbies would include Golfing, Hunting, and Fishing and more especially spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Surviving are his daughters, Jacqueline Yusko, Kingston and Deborah Yaple, Shavertown. Son-in-law, Paul Yusko. Two grandsons, Ryan and Kyle Yusko.
Memorial service will be held, Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 12:00 PM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, PA with The Rev. Dr. William Lewis, officiating. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Donations in John’s name may be made to Shriners Children’s c/o 3551 N. Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19140.
