Joan Meyers

Joan R. Meyers, 71, Dallas, passed away, Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late William Paul and Claire Searfoss Meyers and was a graduate of Dallas High School.

Joan was a title clerk with Ertley Motorworld for many years before her retirement. She was a member of Trucksville United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Johnson. Surviving are cousins including Carole Schaffer, her caregiver. Nieces, Shelia, Susan, Julanne, and Tricia.

Funeral services were held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.
