Jason Coates

Jason A. Coates, Dallas, 54, passed away Friday, December 9, 2022 at his residence. Born in Kingston, he was the son of Nelson Coates and Lynne Shouldice. He was a graduate of Wyoming Valley West High School, LCCC Culinary Arts, and the Culinary Institute of America.

Jason was a member of the Orange United Methodist Church. He was a chef at numerous restaurants, including Constantino’s Catering. Jason also worked for Seaworld, Allied Rehab. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and working in his garage, he loved tinkering with his Little Red Express.

He is preceded in death by his brother Curtis Coates. Surviving is his son, Shawn Coates, and his mother and father.

Funeral service will be held Monday, December 12, 2022 at 11:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc. 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, 18612.  Friends may call Monday from 9:00 Am until time of service. On line condolences may be sent to Disquefuneralhome.com
