Jack Nicely

September 28, 1940 — May 14, 2018

Jack Nicely, 77, Dallas, passed away, Monday, May 14, 2018 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Edwin and Florence Thomas Nicely and was a graduate of Hanover High School. Jack was retired from ACME Markets. He had worked for many years at the Back Mountain ACME.

Jack served his country in The Army Reserves.  He was an avid bowler with Chacko’s bowling league, Wilkes-Barre. Some of his favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing as well as camping at How Kola camp grounds.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley McCabe. Surviving are his children, Karen Cybulski and John Nicely, both of Dallas. 3 Grandchildren. Brother, Edwin Nicely and Sister, Flossie Lewis.

Funeral will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas. Donations in Jack’s memory may be made to Blue Chip Animal Shelter, c/o 974 Lockville Road, Dallas, Pa. 18612.
