Henry Grundler

Henry J. Grundler, 93, of Wayne, NJ, passed away, Monday, February 27, 2017 at his Dallas residence. Born in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the late Henry and Margaret Corely Grundler and was a graduate of East Side High School, Paterson, NJ. Henry was a roofer for all of his working career with Local #10 Roofers Union Haledon, NJ. He was also the Union President for 47 years. The Union Hall was named Grundler Hall after Henry in his honor. He was a member of St Anthony's Church in Hawthorn, NJ. One of Henry's favorite pass times was Fishing and Hunting. Henry was preceded in death by his wife the former Evelyn Modugno and Daughters, Susan Richardson and Crissy Grundler, and by sons, Patrick, Ronald, Henry, and David Grundler Grandson, David Bosland. Surviving are Daughters, Jamie Bosland and her husband Dave, Malvern, Pa., Mary Arstma and her husband Don, Dallas, Son, Henry R.D. Grundler and his wife Jen, Estell Manor, NJ., Grandchildren, Nancy, Laura, Christopher, Dana, Mitchell, and Garrett, Eveelyn, Kaydon, and Tyler, Shannon, and Victoria. Great Grandchildren, Jacob, Andrew, Adriana, Audrey, Aislyn, and Rocco. Service will be held Saturday, March 4, 2017 11:30 Am at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with Deacon Thomas Cesarini of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas, officiating. Viewing may begin at 10:00 AM Saturday. Service begins at 11:30 AM. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.
