Gladys Kitchen

Gladys W. Kitchen , 81, Dallas, passed away, Sunday, August 27, 2017 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital. Born in Harveys Lake, Pa she was the daughter of the late Everet and Flora Bear Wilson and was a graduate of Dallas High School and Jefferson School of Nursing, Philadelphia. She was a RN with Robert Packer Hospital, Philadelphia and later retired from The Red Cross. Gladys was a member of Community Bible Church, Tunkhannock and was a volunteer with the Blood Mobile with the Red Cross. She was also a member of The Order of the Eastern Star, Tunkhannock. She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Wilson, Sisters, Karen Carey and Irene Flanagan. Surviving is her husband, Richard Kitchen, at home, with whom she would have celebrated 59 years of marriage on Sept 19, 2017. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 3:00 Pm at The Richard H., Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas with The Rev. David Stuckey, pastor Community Bible Church, Tunkhannock, officiating. Friends may call Saturday, from 2:00 pm until time of service. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
