George Stuart

George R. “Dick” Stuart, 81 of Trucksville, passed away Sunday, April 21, 2019 at home. Born November 30, 1937 in Exeter, he was a son of the late George H. and Arline Conden Stuart and was a graduate of Dallas High School. He was employed as a welder with Air Products, Hanover Township prior to his retirement. George was also a member of the NRA. George was an avid fisherman and hunter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Stuart.  A daughter-in-law, Tammy Martin Stuart and twin Great Grandsons, Joseph and Jaiden Zeek-Nace. Surviving are his daughters, Pamela Stuart and her husband Paul Sweet, Lehman; Brenda Stuart, Trucksville; sons, George Stuart, Jr, Huntington Mills; Brian Stuart and his wife Carol, Huntington Mills; sisters, Mary Ann Swire and Sharon Metz;  brothers, Marvin, William, Clifford, James, and David Stuart; eight grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren and two step-great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held Friday, April 26, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas with The Rev. John Craig, Arcadia Hospice Chaplain, officiating.  Friends may call Friday from 6:00 p.m. until time of service.
