Evelyn R. Weaver

Evelyn R. Weaver, 94, passed away, Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at The Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Born in Lehman, she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Martha Lamoreaux and was a graduate of Lehman High School and Wilkes-Barre General Hospital School of Nursing.

She was a member of Dallas United Methodist Church and Wilkes-Barre General Hospital School of Nursing Alumni. Evelyn was employed with Leader Nursing and Manor Care Nursing Centers until her retirement.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband William C. Weaver and a sister, Vera Hoover. Surviving is her son, William E. Weaver, Plains. Daughter, Joanne Benfield (Harris), Allentown, PA. 3 Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren.
