Elmer Conner, Iii

Elmer L. Conner III, 67 of Dallas passed into the eternal arms of his Lord and Savior on Monday, October 15, 2018 with his family by his side.

He was the son of the late Elmer L. Conner Jr. and Marguerite Weir Conner.

Elmer leaves behind his wife of 45 years, Terry L. (Knorr)Conner and his two loving children Tanya Hall and her husband Ronald (RJ), Dallas and Thomas Conner and his wife Kelley, Swoyersville, that will miss him dearly along with his 5 granddaughters, Alyssa and Grace Conner, Makenzie and Jillian Kapitula and Olivia Hall. His sister Margaret (Margo) Loefflad and her husband Bill. Mother-in-law Patricia Hendricks, step-mother-in-law Dorothy Knorr, Uncle Walter & Aunt Mary Weir, of Dallas, numerous sisters and brother-in laws, cousins, nieces and nephews and his 2 side kicks Bella and Cassie who will miss getting their belly’s rubbed each and every night.

Elmer was employed at Ken Pollock of Pittston as an auto-body technician and worked throughout several shops in the area leaving behind numerous friends he met throughout the years. You could always find Elmer working around his home sprucing up the yard which he took pride in.

Elmer was a veteran of the United States Air Force during Vietnam War serving as an aircraft mechanic, and was a member of Gate if Heaven Church of Dallas.

The family would like to thank his doctors Cynthia Solomon and David Greenwald and their associates for their compassionate care and all the nurses at Celtic Hospice who provided comfort in his final days.

Memorial service will be held, Monday, October 22, 2018 at 10:30am at Gate of Heaven Church, Machell Ave., Dallas, with The Rev. Daniel Toomey, officiating. Interment will be in Huntsville Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday 3 to 5pm at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.

Those attending the Memorial Service are to go directly to the church on Monday.
