Elizabeth Miknevich

Elizabeth Miknevich, 77, Dallas, passed away, Thursday, June 11, 2026 at Maple Ridge Nursing Center. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Louise Lamoreaux and was a 1967 graduate of Dallas High School.

Elizabeth began her carrier as a keypunch operator for Social Security and later as a Medical Transcriptionist for various physicians in the back mountain. She needed to retire early due to contracting MS for the last 30 years of her life. She is now at peace.

Elizabeth was married for 53 years to her loving husband Edward Miknevich. She loved her entire family and will be missed by everyone. An avid reader, she also enjoyed doing crosswords, playing cards, and traveling when she could.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Louise Lamoreaux, a brother Charles Lamoreaux, Jr., and a nephew Charles Lamoreaux, III. Elizabeth is survived by her husband Edward, daughters, Terri Loeffler and her husband Ron, Wilkes-Barre, Sherri Miknevich and her partner Anthony, Boston. Son, Stephen Miknevich, Dallas. Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
