Eleanor Dormio

Eleanor L. Gregory Dormio, 89, of Trucksville, passed away Monday, October 3, 2022 at Mountain Top Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Dallas, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Saraka Butler and was a graduate of Lake Township High School. She retired from the Social Security Administration in 2004.

Eleanor loved bird watching, flea markets, visiting the Outer Banks with her family, and reading.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, Carol and Joan Gregory, and her second husband, James L. Dormio. Surviving are her children Lynn Gregory Smith (Victor) Silver Spring, MD; Wilson Gregory (Patti) Penn Lake, PA; and Paul Gregory, Fairbanks, AK; grandchildren Dylan and Evan Smith, Kimberly and Brandon Scott, and Eleanor, Samantha, and Grady Williams. Also surviving are her sister, Jackie Hackert, brother James Butler, first husband Richard Gregory, and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, Pa. Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park.
