Dorothy Lushefski

Dorothy A. Lushefski, 86, Shavertown, passed away Wednesday, October 12,
2022 at The Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Born in Wilkes-Barre, she was the
daughter of the late Edward and Frances Kaczmarek Rosolowski and was a graduate of
Mary Mount High School and Wilkes-Barre Business School.
Dorothy was a homemaker raising her children. For a short time she was a
bookkeeper with East End Bakery in Wilkes-Barre and a domestic for many years. She was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Church and the Meadows Auxiliary. She loved to travel with her
husband Walter and spend their children's inheritance at the Casino. She was very well-loved and will be missed by many.
Dorothy was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Rosser. Surviving are her
husband of 63 years, Walter Lushefski, at home. Daughters Lori Besecker and her
husband Jeff (Dallas), Lisa Miller and her husband Glenn (Shavertown), Son
Christopher Lushefski and his wife Joanne (Trucksville). Grandchildren:Jared (wife April), Adam (wife Julie), Kylee, Alyssa (husband Gerry), Kristen, and Abigail, and Great Grandson Austin, sister Frances Tomko, nieces and nephews, and her extended family the Alinikoffs.
Funeral Service will be held Monday, October 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM at St.
Frances Cabrini Church, 585 Mt. Olivet Road, Wyoming   Friends may call
Monday from 9:00AM until time of service at the church. Interment will be in Mt.
Olivet Cemetery. A special thank you to her Meadows Nursing Center family
