Doris Tuman

Doris V. Tuman, 94, Dallas, passed away, Monday, August 7, 2017 at Mercy Center, Dallas. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Mullen Tuman and was a graduate of Scranton Central High School and Kings County Hospital of Nursing in Brooklyn NY and received a BS Degree in Nursing Education from College Misericordia. Her career in Nursing included 2 years in The US Air Force. She retired from The American Red Cross Blood Service in 1987. Doris was a member of, and Sunday School Teacher of Gate of Heaven Church, Dallas. She served as a volunteer at Mercy Center, Dallas and was a Eucharistic Minister. Doris was preceded in death by Sisters, Marjorie Allan, Alice Loftus, and Mary Keany. Surviving are a sister, Jane Mc Andrew, Dallas. Several nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 11. 2017 at 10:30 AM at Mercy Center, Dallas. Friends may call from 9:30 AM until time of service. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H.
