Dolores Kuzma

Dolores B. Kuzma, 90, Vernon, Pa, passed away, Monday, May 1, 2017 at her residence. Born in Centermoreland, she was the daughter of the late William and Julia Pukalis Gitautis and was a graduate of Exeter High School and was Valedictorian of her 1944 graduating class. Dolores and her late husband Walter owned and operated the family business, Kuzma Dairy Farm. She was a former member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Centermoreland and was a member of the church choir. She later became a member of St. Francis Cabrini Church, Wyoming. Delores was a very creative woman, she designed clothing, was an avid painter and an incredible cook and gardener. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Kuzma in 1994 and a brother, Bill Gitautis. Surviving are her children, Daughter, Nancy Thaler, and her husband Karl, Tunkhannock, sons, Bill Kuzma, Pitman NJ., Raymond Kuzma and his wife Annette, Vernon. Grandchildren, Katie, Ellie, and Michael Kuzma. Sister, Regina Lavin. Funeral will be held Thursday, May 4, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis Cabrini Church, Wyoming. Friends may call from 10:00am until time of service at the church. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Wyoming. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas.
