Cheryl L. Miskiel, 69, passed away, Tuesday, August 3, 2021 after a brief illness at The Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Shirley Parry Goode and was a graduate of Dallas High School and College Misericordia with a degree in education.
Cheryl was a teacher with the Dallas School District for many years. She was an active member of The Dallas United Methodist Church. While with the church she was the youth coordinator and head of the acolytes.
Cheryl is in heaven with her best friend and mother Shirley. Also preceding her in death is her father Joseph Goode and sister Wendy. Surviving are her husband of 44 years, Edward Miskiel at home. Brothers, Steve, Joe, and Wayne. Several nieces and nephews.
Cheryl very much enjoyed her girls, (the chickens) and one day car trips in the classic cars. Often stopping for a large Ice Cream. She was always reading and spent a lot of time at The Back Mountain Memorial Library.
A Celebration of Life will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested contributions be made to The Back Mountain Memorial Library, c/o 96 Huntsville Road, Dallas, Pa. 18612.
