Caroline Williams

Caroline M. Williams, 82, Dallas, passed away, Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at Hospice of the Sacred Heart, Dunmore. Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Edith Hartin Archambault and was a graduate of Falls Overfield High School. While in high school she received business education. Caroline was very active in basketball. She had worked in the garment industry as a seamstress in various companies locally. She had also worked in catering for 13 years.

Caroline was a member of The Centermoreland United Methodist Church. She enjoyed being involved with the kitchen staff of the VBS, Vacation Bible School as well as being a roller, making welsh cookies. Member of the Sister Circle, Lunch Bunch of the church. She was the chair for the health and welfare committee in the late 1970’s early 1980’s. She loved water aerobics at College Miseracordia. Her favorite hobbies were gardening camping with her family, polka dancing and all of outdoors. She also loved games including, BINGO, Carroms, Skipbo, and dice.

Caroline was preceded in death by sisters, Agnes Rustine and Lillian Dorrow and a brother, Philip R. Archambeault. Surviving is her husband Stanley Williams, at home, son, Frank Williams and his wife Mary Dee, Centermoreland. Sister, Edith Lewis. 2 Grandchildren, Cassie and Theo Williams, 1 Great Grandson, Connor Williams.

Funeral will be held Monday, March 26, 2018 at 10:30 AM at The Centermoreland United Methodist Church, 17 Creamery Road, Tunkhannock  with The Rev. Harold Schorr and Rev. James Howell, officiating. Interment will be in Memorial Shrine Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 6 to 8 PM. at The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas and again at the church from 10:00 AM until time of service.
