Carol Jean Wideman

May 22, 1949 — October 16, 2025

Dallas

Carol Jean Wideman was born on May 22, 1949, and passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on October 16, 2025. Carol was a proud mother, grandmother, and wife who cared for her family unconditionally. Carol’s big heart and loving nature can be observed in her nickname Grandma Bubble, bestowed to her for being a “bubble of love” lovingly by her grandchildren.

Carol was the beloved wife of Joe Wideman, and the proud mother of two children, Holly Bolesta and Thomas Bolesta. She was also the cherished grandmother of Taylor Bolesta, Troy Turinski, Parker Bolesta, and Sydney Bolesta. Carol is survived by her brother, Harold Taylor Jr., whom she dearly loved. Her family was her greatest joy, and her nurturing spirit will continue to live on through them.

A woman of deep faith, Carol was devoted to her church and found peace in the Lord’s prayers. Her faith guided her life and brought comfort to those around her, reflecting her gentle and giving nature. She taught those she loved the true meaning of sacrifice and selflessness, always putting others before herself.

Carol’s selflessness was reflected in her career as a nurse. Serving as a registered nurse was one of Carol’s greatest accomplishments and a true testament to her empathetic and gentle nature.

She will be remembered for her unwavering kindness, her generous heart, and the love she shared so freely. Carol’s legacy of faith, care, and compassion will never be forgotten by those who were fortunate to know her.
