Carol M. Kosisky

Carol M. Kosisky, 72, Dallas, passed away, Friday, October 4, 2024 at Embassy of Wyoming Valley Nursing Center, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the later Frank and Blanche Lawson Picchi and was a graduate of Westside Vocational Technical School class of 1970 and Luzerne County Community College with an associate’s degree in Nursing.

 Carol was a nurse with Nesbitt Memorial Hospital and later retiring from Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Carol very much enjoyed arts and crafts, photography, going to the beach and concerts. Some of her other favorite activities was NASCAR racing, spending time with her son and nieces and nephews and supporting their activities. Dear to Carol’s heart was supporting Native American Indian Cultures with the South Dakota Indian Reserve. 

 Carol was preceded in death by her dog Razor. Left to cherish her memory are her son, Stephen Kosisky, Dallas. Long time companion, Tony Gisolfi, Dallas. Sister, Nancy Bohonko and her husband Michael, Plains. Brother, Frank Picchi. Nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews. Her dog Coco.

 Memorial service will be Monday, October 14, 2024 at 5:00 PM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas. Friends may call Monday from 3:00 to time of service. On line condolences may be made at Disquefuneralhome.com
