BettyJane Price of Kingston, PA passed away peacefully Thursday April 29, 2021 with her family at her side. She was born on July 16, 1931 in Kingston, PA to Frederick and Emily Crouse, the second of two children. Her brother, Robert Crouse, passed away in 2016.
BettyJane graduated from Kingston High School in 1949 and continued her education at Wyoming Seminary, obtaining her certificate in bookkeeping in 1951. She then worked for Irem Temple Shrine until 1960, after which she worked for the Kingston High School and the Wyoming Valley West High School in the athletic department until her retirement in 1996.
In 1954 BettyJane married William Price of Edwardsville, PA and were married for 47 years until William passed away in 2004. During their golden years they travelled extensively, visiting 46 states and 10 countries. But most of all they enjoyed many happy times with son Randy and their two granddaughters, Kiana and Kalani.
BettyJane is survived by her son Randy (Harveys Lake), daughter-in-law Maria (Hanover Twp.), granddaughters Kiana and Kalani, her two nephews Robert Crouse Jr. (Cranberry Twp.) and David Crouse (North East, MD), and the Quijandria family.
Special thanks to the staff at The Village at Greenbriar in Dallas, where BettyJane spent the last two years. Your comfort and kindness during those years will never be forgotten.
Memorial service will be held at the Church of Christ Uniting, 190 South Sprague Avenue, Kingston, PA at 1 PM on Sunday May 2, 2021 where BettyJane was a member for 89 years. Family and friends are welcome to attend. COVID-19 guidelines will be followed, masks and social distancing. Arrangements are under the direction of The Richard H.
