Benjamin David Roberts

 Benjamin D. Roberts, 82, Shavertown, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024 at Allied Nursing Center, Wilkes-Barre. Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was the son of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth Lingertot Roberts and was a graduate of Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre. He furthered his education by getting a degree in Drafting.

 Benjamin was a drafter with Royer Foundry and Machine Company for many years until his retirement. He was a member of The Welsh Bethel Baptist Church in Wilkes-Barre and was a Deacon and choir member. He was also a member of American Foundry Society. He had served his country proudly with the Navy for four years.

 Benjamin was preceded in death by his wife the former Judith A. Heffner in 2017 and a sister, Beth Eckert. Surviving are his daughter, Stacy Budner and her husband Robert, Monroe Twp. Son, David Roberts and his wife Tracey, Shavertown. Brother, Ronald Roberts, Shavertown.  4 Grandchildren and 1 Great Granddaughter and 1 Great Grandson/
