Barbara E. Zacharias

Barbara E. Zacharias, 74, Monroe Twp., passed away Sunday, August 10, 2025 at her residence. Born in Meshoppen, she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Marjorie Burgess Stone and was a graduate of Tunkhannock Schools.

Barbara was a CNA with Star Hill Nursing Center until her retirement. She very much loved her family being involved in Boy Scout Leader and couching baseball with Bob Horlacher Baseball with her children. She very much enjoyed four wheeling and going to the casino and playing cards with family and friends.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Harry in July of 2024. Brothers, Cecil and Ronald Stone. Surviving is her daughter, Bobbi Jo Dourand, Monroe Twp., Son, Harry Zacharias and his wife Kathleen, Harding. 5 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. Brother, Dale Stone.

Memorial service will be held, Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the family Cemetery, Zacharias Cemetery at 1:00 PM. Celebration of life afterwards at Barbara' home.
