Archie Ray Miller

          Archie Ray Miller, 56, Shavertown, passed away, Friday, July 21, 2023 while working on a road trip in Connecticut. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of Archie and Carolyn Burchfield Miller (FL) and was a graduate of Millville Senior High School, Millville, NJ. 

         Ray was a truck driver. He owned and operated Miller Transfer trucking company for many years. Ray was a member of Trucksville United Methodist Church. He was a family man, and very much loved his family.

         He was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Bowlby. Surviving are his wife of 34 years, the former Staci Robbins. Daughter, Amanda Miller, Friendswood, TX. Sons, Steven Miller and his wife Emily, Kingston, Joshua Miller, Jacksonville, FL, Michael Miller, Shavertown. Granddaughter Amelia Miller. Brother, Richard Miller, FL.

       Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 27, 2023 at 11:00 AM from The Richard H. Disque Funeral Home, Inc., 2940 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with The Rev. Jay Jones, pastor Trucksville United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Fern Knoll Burial Park, Dallas.  Friends may call Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM.
